"Where are all the plugs?!?!?!"

I witnessed/was asked the greatest thing I have ever heard in my 4 years of Retail yesterday. This lady with her kid comes up to me and is trying to locate an extension cord or "plugs" that her son could play with. Meanwhile, her demon son is going freaking crazy... I end up showing her the surge protectors which she is pleased that we have. She gives it to her son who starts playing with it. Later... he runs around the store shouting, "Where are the plugs?!?!?" while the mother tries to lie to him that "we do not have plugs." hahahaha.... an electronic store without plugs, this kid is not stupid!

It was definitely a "you had to be there" type happening to really truly appreciate it. lol.

  1. the kid thinks outlets are toys and she was encouraging this? I spend my day telling my son No and to stay away from them because I don't know about you but I was brought up being told a receptacle that can send large amounts of electricity through the body if the wrong thing was put in is bad. Oh Darwin why must there be people out there proving you wrong on a daily basis

  2. lol. Yeah! This lady was ridiculous. I thought she was joking at first but she was serious. It was all very surreal! I couldn't tell if she had just given in to his demands after years of him wanting to so she figured she couldn't stop him from playing with them or what. hahahaha this day was ranks as one of the MOST entertaining days in retail work!
